Dolomites Guru ("we", "us") runs guided hut-to-hut hiking trips in the Italian Dolomites. This page explains what information we collect through dolomitesguru.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Trip inquiries. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email, and anything else you choose to share: phone number, group size, preferred departure, and your message.
- Training plan sign-ups. When you request our free training plan, we receive your first name and email address.
- Website usage. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which use cookies to tell us how visitors find and use the site (for example, pages viewed and the general region you visit from).
How we use it
- To answer your questions and plan your trip.
- To send the training plan you asked for, plus occasional updates about our trips. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site and our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the site and the business, such as our web host, our email provider, and Google (for analytics and advertising). If you book a trip, we share only the details needed with the mountain huts and transport providers that make the trip happen.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to plan your trip and keep normal business records. Email sign-ups stay on our list until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Just write to tours@dolomitesguru.com. If you live in the European Union, you also have the rights given to you under the GDPR.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
